Our honeymoon was wonderful! The travel documents were a great help and were organized so that there was no issue whatsoever in getting to Cap Juluca. Your help in choosing Cap Juluca was great too. We went to the Viceroy for dinner one night and were glad that we chose to stay at Cap Juluca. The Moorish style appearance of the villas were very cool and we thought more fun than the modern looking rooms at the Viceroy would have been. We also stopped by the bar there and it was worth it. Unfortunately, only Pimms was open at Cap Juluca so we didn't get to try out Spice or Blue. Pimms had great food and a spectacular view. I have never eaten in a restaurant with waves rolling right up to me. We ventured off the resort to Mango, la Dolce Vita, Coba, and the Straw Hat and had delicious meals everywhere. We didn't go to Veya, but heard that was a good place too. It is right near Dolce Vita. The taxis were a little expensive (i know, everything is on an island) and we were happy with the closer places we did go to. The beach was very nice and just outside our door. It was nice that the watersports were free to guests of the resort and we took full advantage of the 3:00pm sorbet on the beach every day once we learned about it. The staff were all very friendly and courteous.
One thought we had was that it was kinda necessary to check in at the conceierge every other day or so to see what activities were going on. We had wanted to go on a boat trip to do some snorkeling and it was canceled due to not enough people signed up one day, but we were unaware of the trip that was scheduled for the next day, and they didn't tell us until we stopped in to ask if there was a place off-resort to do such a trip. We had a great time and came back happy and relaxed. I would not hesitate to use your services again next time we need an island getaway.
