Days 1 – 3
Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Description: Arrive in Nairobi on Day 2. Visit the National Museum of Kenya, where you may view some of the most celebrated collections of history, culture and art from the area. At Daphne Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage, you can get up close and personal with rescued baby elephants as they feed and play, and learn about how they are cared for before they are returned to the wild. At the Giraffe Center Wildlife Preserve you can view giraffes in their natural habitat and even feed them.

Days 4 & 5
Description: Stay at the Tortilis Camp, one of the Classic Safari Camps of Africa, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The views of Kilimanjaro from this property are unrivaled. Maasai Mara
Description: The Maasai Mara is one of the largest and most well-known wildlife reserves in Africa. Enjoy game drives and even a hot-air balloon ride to take in the majestic views over the grasslands of the Great Rift Valley.

Day 8
Arusha, Tanzania
Description: Rest in the lovely Arusha Coffee Lodge, set in a coffee plantation, before the transfer to Ngorongoro.

Days 9 & 10
Ngorongoro Crater
Description: In the afternoon, visit the Tloma Primary School where you can learn about the area’s rural school system. The following day, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater — “Africa’s Garden of Eden” — teeming with lions, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, rhinos, gazelles and buffaloes.

Days 11 – 13
Serengeti National Park
description: On the way to Serengeti, visit a Maasai Village and the Olduvai Gorge, known as the “Cradle of Mankind” because of the important prehistoric archaeological discoveries found there. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives.
