Jade Mountain St. Lucia, where all the rooms have infinity pools

Rising majestically above the 600 acre beach front resort of Anse Chastanet, Jade Mountain St.Lucia is a cornucopia of organic architecture celebrating St Lucia’s stunning scenic beauty. Architect owner Nick Troubetzkoy has expanded upon his philosophy of building in harmony with Caribbean nature in his creation of Jade Mountain St.Lucia. The bold architectural design – individual bridges leading to exceptional infinity pool sanctuaries and rugged stoned-faced columns reaching towards the sky – makes Jade Mountain St.Lucia one of the Caribbean’s most mesmerizing resort experiences.

Jade Mountain St. Lucia

Jade Mountain St. Lucia

Jade Mountain

Expect grand sweeping spaces where bedroom, living area and an extravagant private infinity pool glide into one another to form extraordinary platforms floating out into nature. With the fourth wall entirely absent, Jade Mountain’s sanctuaries are stage-like settings from which to embrace the full glory of St Lucia’s Pitons World Heritage Site, and of course, the eternal Caribbean Sea. A wide range of spa services can be enjoyed in the privacy of the Jade Mountain sanctuaries or at Kai en Ciel, Jade Mountain’s boutique spa and fitness studio.

Jade Mountain

Jade Mountain at night

The Jade Mountain St.Lucia sanctuaries are deliberately techno-free; there are no telephones, radio or television. Internet access is available at reception and upon guest request, internet can be made available in the individual sanctuaries also. The resort major domos and a dedicated resort team ensure outstanding service around the clock.

Jade Mountain’s ensuite infinity pools are not accoutrements, but primary elements of the building's design. With sizes ranging from 400 to 900 square feet, the design of each pool is unique both in colour and shape. The infinity pools are meant to serve as organic components in each suite, as well as in the building as a whole; their sizes increase in relation to the different square footage of the different room categories: GALAXY, SUN, MOON and STAR. The infinity pools are equipped with fibre optics to illuminate them at night. Guests have the option of allowing the system to cycle through a range of colours or setting it to one particular shade.

Real Honeymoon: Bali – Mr. & Mrs. Mendelsohn

Lauren & Todd Mendelsohn

Todd & Lauren Mendelsohn at Bali Temple

We had a wonderful honeymoon!  The Uma Ubud was great.  The suite was spacious and the pool out back was great.  Not so lavish but perfect considering we were out almost all day long in Ubud.  Our weather was not ideal so we didn't spend as much time at the pool and outdoors as we would have liked. It rained during our driving tour of the various temples.  That being said it wasn't such an issue since we spent most of the day in the car with our awesome guide.

Bali Honeymoon

We ate the first night at the Italian restaurant in the hotel (I think Uma Cucina it was called?) Delicious food that was much needed after some crazy food on our flights.  We ate at Indus the second night, overlooking the River Valley and it was gorgeous! Food was delicious and just a very nice atmosphere.  The last night in Ubud we also ate at the hotel in the lobby overlooking the pool- - so exhausting after a long day of bicycling through the villages and seeing Kintamani and Mt Batur.  Was nice to have a bottle of wine, relax on a large couch in the bar area and snack on a few things.

Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbara  Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbara

The Four Seasons at Jimbaran was UNBELIEVABLE, hands down the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at with the nicest staff.  The food was delicious, the views were fantastic, and we loved everything about it.  Todd went surfing or paddle boarding every day, and i got to choose from the private pool in our villa, the two pools at the hotel and the various options for poolside/beachside seating- - cabanas, chairs, etc.  We ate mostly in the hotel, so many different places to choose from and we didn't want to leave.  We went to happy hour almost every day (from 5-7) for great drinks while we watched the sunset.  A few nights we stayed there for dinner too, amazing sushi, fish dishes, and even little things like their pizzas were great.  We ate at Sundara twice, with gorgeous views of the ocean and sunsets. We also went twice to Menega Grill down the beach for fresh caught fish and delicious cold Bintangs.  We actually made friends with our waiter the first night and went back the second time to see him again.  he was delightful, sat with us after his shift and we had beers and talked.

Bali Sunset

We also went to the Ayana hotel to see the Rock Bar and watch the sunset. It was a complete tourist attraction but still really fun. They had good drinks and food and a nice price break from the Four Seasons.

Thank you again for all of your help. Just wanted you to know we appreciate your help getting everything coordinated.

Hermitage Bay

Featuring a stylish décor, rich, wood panelled walls and soft ambient lighting, our suites exude sensuality. The Beachfront Cottages open to the white sand beach and sea, both of which are often vacant and always inviting. Hermitage Bay

Hidden by lush vines, the outdoor showers are like tropical rain baths – exhilarating and refreshing. Our aromatic bath soaps have been carefully chosen for their ability to stimulate the senses and fill the large, cavernous bath with long-lasting, luxuriant bubbles. Plush bathrobes and bedroom slippers are provided for relaxing on the patio or balcony whilst sipping champagne and watching the sunset. From the secluded bay and natural beauty to our luxuriously appointed, rustic facilities and ensuite amenities, Hermitage Bay provides all the ingredients for a blissful and unforgettable honeymoon in Antigua.

Hermitage Bay

Whether enjoying lunch by the pool, dining in the beachfront restaurant, or having breakfast in bed, every meal feels privately catered. Recognizing that true 5 star dining is not limited to fois gras and caviar, the chefs at Hermitage Bay create savory entrées that are ideally suited to our guiding principles. The menus change daily, so that each meal becomes an occasion to sample different flavors and try original recipes. Local produce, poultry, and seafood are used liberally in accordance with our effort to minimize food miles. With so much emphasis placed on fresh, high quality ingredients and made-to-order entrées, "[the food] is what you would expect from a 5-star restaurant, not an all-inclusive resort."

Hermitage Bay

The staff at Hermitage Bay has but one aim and that is to accommodate your every request. Whilst enjoying any one of the restaurant, beach, or spa amenities you’ll find a member of staff is always on hand, delivering a cold cocktail, providing fresh towels or collecting your kayak after a paddle around the bay. From the beachfront restaurant serving an all-inclusive menu that is second to none, to the long, secluded beach and Garden Spa, Hermitage Bay offers the perfect setting for a Zen-like experience.
