FAMILIES / CHILDREN
Children of all ages are
welcome all year round at Caneel Bay. There is no charge for one child, up
to 16 years, staying in the parent's room. We have set aside a collection of
rooms for families traveling with children. They include all areas of Caneel
Bay Resort except Paradise, Scott Beach and Cottage 7 guest room
accommodations. With five additional beaches to utilize, families with
children have a great many options from which to choose. Note during the
traditional family holiday times (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and Spring
Breaks), we will allow children of all ages to stay at any location of the
resort.
From June 1 to
October 31, 2001 we offer a second bedroom for children (16 years and
under) accompanying their parents at 50% off the daily room rate. Parents
and their children must be on the same meal plan. Maximum of 3 persons per
room. Our children's center, Turtle Town, offers supervised activities for
a nominal charge.

white sand beaches and over 170 acres of parkland for you to explore. We
respectfully ask al of our guests, both young and old alike, to maintain
Scott and paradise Beaches for those wishing to hear only the quiet lapping
of waves and the rustle of the leaves in the sea grape trees. So, please -
no children under twelve on Paradise and Scott, Caneel's quiet beaches.
You'll find there is more than enough Caneel for everyone to enjoy.
DRESS POLICY
Shorts or dry bathing suits with shirts or
cover-ups are acceptable during the day in the dining rooms and public areas. Ladies may wear suitable evening attire. Swimwear, shorts, jeans and tennis
shoes are not permitted after sunset. To accommodate guest requests for a bit more informality during the summer
season, we invite gentlemen to wear collared shirts, slacks or dress Bermuda
shorts and closed towed shoes for dining at The Equator and Caneel Beach
Terrace and the Beach Bar only. This
policy will remain in effect until November 15th. During winter season only, jackets are required for gentlemen in the Turtle Bay
restaurant.
