Little Dix Bay Wedding Packages

TYING THE KNOT
IN THE BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS

Upon arrival in the British Virgin Islands our wedding coordinator will accompany you to apply for a Marriage License at the Attorney General's Office, which is located in Road Town, Tortola. The Attorney General's Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A Marriage License takes three days to process, and is valid for only three (3) months from the date it is signed by the Governor. At the Attorney General's office we will:

	Purchase a Special License, if you have been resident in the British Virgin Islands for one day.
	Show proof of your identity and your resident status, i.e., the day you arrived in the British Virgin Islands (via your passports).
	Show proof of marital status (including certified copies of Decrees Absolute for divorced spouses or Death Certificate of deceased spouses).
	Have two witnesses to witness and to sign your application form for the license. Please note that these two witnesses need not be the same two witnesses who are present at your Marriage Ceremony.

Having applied for the license, we will then go to the Registrar's Office to schedule an appointment for the date and time you want to be married.

If you have telephoned your appointment from abroad, you will need to confirm it at the Registrar's Office at this time.

Weddings are performed by the Registrar during the hours of 9:00 a. m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

At the Registrar's Office you will be required to fill out forms showing your names as shown on your Travel Documents, your age, occupation, marital status, and the names of two witnesses. These two witnesses MUST be present at the Ceremony.

You can also get married in a church by Special Marriage License. We will make those arrangements with the Church Minister.

It would be wise to travel with your Drivers License or Birth Certificate in addition to your essential Travel Documents, that is your passports. Also, all documents showing identity or marital status SHOULD BE ORIGINALS OR CERTIFIED AS TRUE COPIES of the original. Blood tests are not necessary.

Package prices include application fees, transport and wedding coordination fees.
(Prices are subject to change.)

A $600.00 deposit is required to secure the date, time and site of the wedding. This fee is non-refundable and is applied to the package price.

Wedding Receptions/Dining
After the ceremony, there are a variety of ways to celebrate. We offer dinner for two on the beach, private dining in your room, cocktail receptions or enjoy the tropical atmosphere in one of our renowned restaurants. Our Executive Chef and his team will create a menu to suit your unique taste. Let us assist you in making this moment last a lifetime.
