Anguilla is a flat honeymoon island, 16 miles long, 3 miles wide. It's a very wealthy, peaceful
honeymoon island, best known for long white sandy beaches, turquoise water, friendly people
and excellent restaurants. This honeymoon island is just a 15 minute ferry ride away from
St. Maarten making it an easy day trip. After you exhaust yourself, simply sail back to the
quietude of Anguilla. Anguilla is an island of tranquility and serenity. Car rental is recommended.
White sand and clear blue water...(the kind you can look through and see your feet on the bottom)
is what you will find on virtually all of Anguilla's beaches. Some are quiet out of the way slips
of sand surrounded by high cliff walls and pounding surf while others are long sweeping ribbons
dotted with pleasant hotels and restaurants. All are quiet, uncrowded and very romantic.

of course, the famous "johnny cakes," dining on this island is a very good reason to visit.
